Nancy Ellington has been an early childhood educator for twenty years. She also teaches early childhood, curriculum, and communication college courses and serves on the College of Education Faculty Council for the University of Phoenix.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood, a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, and has earned National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist.  She has presented teacher workshops at the local, state, and national levels.  She is an active member of the National Association for the Development of Young Children (NAEYC), Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society (KDP), the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Florida Writer’s Association (FWA), and Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).
